Leeward Press is an independent sheet-music publisher based in Tasmania, Australia. These terms apply to this website and to digital publications sold by Leeward Press unless a product page states otherwise.

Digital products

Publications are supplied as digital files, usually PDF sheet music. Product pages describe what is included in each purchase. Delivery is handled through Payhip after checkout.

Please check the title, instrumentation and edition option before purchasing.

Licence and permitted use

Buying a Leeward Press digital publication gives the purchaser a non-transferable licence to use the supplied files for their own lawful use. Unless a product page says otherwise, the digital files may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded publicly or shared as substitute copies for other purchasers.

Copyright in an original composition may differ from copyright in Leeward Press engraving, editorial work, design or other added material. A purchase does not transfer any copyright or other intellectual-property rights.

If you need permission for classroom, institutional, commercial or other extended use, please contact Leeward Press.

Refunds and problems with a purchase

Because digital files are delivered electronically, Leeward Press does not generally offer refunds simply because a purchaser changes their mind after delivery.

This does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded. If a file is faulty, materially different from its description, cannot be supplied, or there is another problem covered by applicable consumer law, please contact Leeward Press so the issue can be assessed and an appropriate remedy provided.

Prices and checkout

Prices and available editions are shown on the relevant product or checkout page and may change over time. Purchases are completed through Payhip using the payment options available there. Separate terms and privacy policies may apply to those services.

Website information

Leeward Press aims to keep catalogue, syllabus and resource information accurate, but research pages such as the Cello Etude Index are evolving reference tools and may contain omissions or errors. Corrections are welcome.

Availability, publication details and website content may be changed or withdrawn without notice.

External links and services

The website may link to third-party websites or services. Leeward Press is not responsible for third-party content, availability or privacy practices.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, Leeward Press is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or a digital publication.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version that applies to a purchase is the version in effect at the time of purchase, subject to rights that apply under law.
